Crown & Flint is the app for analog photographers. Crown & Flint is the most intuitive and easy to use tool for collecting extensive metadata on every shot you take on film. Cleverly disguised as a light meter app, Crown & Flint captures data about your equipment, settings, location, and film stock with each shot. It's also the best tool for managing your collection of film, from freezer to archives.
With the help of my trust friend and designer, Pavel MaÄŤek, we have streamlined Crown & Flint's user experience, making it even easier and more intuitive to use than before. And we've given it a complete makeover, with a fresh color scheme and a new versatile logo.
It's been just over a year since the first release of Crown & Flint, and the time has come to celebrate! Since the first version in 2023, we've pushed out a major release on average once every two months, and a development build to our beta testers once a week. We've incorporated so much user feedback from our Discord that the app has grown far, far beyond my initial vision for it. But we're not done: Look for more great updates coming over the next year, too!
